Research interests

My research focuses on the development of approaches based on the principles of machine learning, statistical analysis and pattern recognition, and their application to medical diagnostic support systems. From the design of algorithms for computer-assisted analysis of medical data, through computer vision for medical images, to the application of learning techniques, in particular ensemble methods for solving various problems: Supervised learning, Semi-supervised learning, Unsupervised learning, Constraint learning, Multi-label learning, Data reduction, feature selection, Co-selection: instances and variables.
